Bob Hochstadt, a principal emeritus of GHP Horwath and a principal of GHP Investment Advisors, Inc., has more than 45 years of experience providing accounting, tax, consulting, and personal financial planning services to a wide range of individual and business clients. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered in the state of Colorado and has earned a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation. Bob was a founding partner of Gelfond Hochstadt Pangburn, P.C., an early predecessor firm to GHP Horwath. In addition, he was instrumental in creating GHP Investment Advisors, Inc. in 1996, after offering comprehensive financial plans for GHP Horwath’s clients for years. GHP Horwath was one of the first accounting firms to have a stand-alone financial planning division.
Bob has extensive expertise in service industries including medical, dental, legal, architecture, real estate, retail, and wholesale/distribution businesses, light manufacturing, and the non-profit field. He has been recognized by Worth Magazine as one of the ‘Top 250 Best Financial Advisors in the U.S.’
Bob has worked at GHP Horwath since 1990, and before that was a partner in the tax department at Laventhol & Horwath, a predecessor firm to GHP Horwath. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Denver, and has also completed postgraduate work in Accounting at the University of Denver.
